2002 Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 TS

The 2 litre engine is a smooth and super runner with a good gearbox. The bodywork is very good with minimal dents or grazes despite its age and the paintwork is very respectable with only a few touched up stone chips.

All the electrics work and the leather interior is excellent including the driver seat bolsters. The Tyres and wheels are good.

I love this car and it was intended to be a keeper but I have too many other cars and just don't get the time to drive this at all.

The following work has been carried out over the last 5 years (less than 2k miles)

# Cam belt balance belt tensioners and auxillary belts replaced.

#. Water pump

#. Radiator

#. Abs pump

#. Front n/s o/s springs and shocks

#. Front & Rear n/s o/s wishbones

#. Front & Rear n/s o/s droplinks

#. Rear n/s o/s brake discs and pads

#. Radiator support refurbished (prone to rotting)

Previous owner was a GTV enthusiast (his dad was an engineer for Formula 1 Alfa Romeo).

Have original red key plus spares

It's a lovely car that packs a bit of punch.

I have owned it for 5 years and have only covered a couple of thousand miles in that time.

It's a great little car, a design classic for a growing number of enthusiasts. It is getting to be a rare sight on the roads these days and is well worth considering and the fair starting price reflects the work that's has been done it just needs driving and enjoying.

Best of all it is ULEZ compliant and falls under Classic Car insurance (I pay around £400 a year)

Car is currently SORN due to lack of use. Last week I put it through an MOT and it passed with flying colours.

Brand new battery fitted. The paintwork on the bonnet has started to fade, so I'm looking for the right bodyshop to respray the bonnet (will reduce the price if you take it as it is).
