1998 RAM SC

For Sale is my Ram Big Block Cobra.

One of only 2 or 3 Big Block Cobras built by the Ram Factory. It was built and registered in 1998.I have owned the car for 2 and a half years and in that time I have spent a considerable amount of money upgrading it.

New crate engine installed: 454 stroked to 496 Chevy big block. It was dyno’d in the US at approx 630hp.It’s now set up to run at 455 hp . Dyno printouts included.

Custom made sump protector. New high torque starter motor. New McLeod clutch. New Oil cooler. Re-cored radiator. New drive shaft. Wheels refurbed and repainted. New wood steering wheel. Fitted with a 5 speed manual gearbox supplied by Summit Racing.

Chassis has been treated with rust protection.

After market seats fitted to accommodate taller driver. Original seats included.

There is way too much to list and essentially the car has been rebuilt from the ground up. The mileage shows as 6k but has only about 1.5k since the new engine was fitted.

The work that has been carried out is extensive and all completed by Thunder Road Cars in Essex. Specialists in all things cobra.
