S3 Caterham SuperSport Sigma

Engine

- Ford Sigma 1.6L engine

- Caterham Supersport engine upgrade which includes camshafts and lightened flywheel (c142bhp)

- In addition, this car has a Ford Puma aluminium inlet manifold with custom ECU re-mapping by Steve Greenald at Track n Road. This car now makes 149bhp with rev limit set at 7500rpm (standard manifold included in sale)

- The engine now pulls better at the top end and is a match for the newer 310r VVT cars.

Transmission

- Titan Limited Slip Differential (recent oil change and slip torque tested)

- Standard Ford 5-speed gearbox

Suspension

- Caterham wide track suspension

- Adjustable spring mounts

- Front and rear anti-roll bars

Maintenance

Mechanically well maintained. Recent major parts include:

- NEW Clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder – Jul22

- NEW Race spec de-Dion tube – May23

- Various parts to keep it in tip-top condition with detailed receipts and record of work don including dampers, wishbones, hoses, wheel bearings, driveshaft, rebuilt brake callipers etc

Bodywork

Having recently retired from racing, it’s had a new nosecone, front wings and a fresh wrap. Note that the side and rear skins have some dents but overall looks stunning in the candy yellow/green wrap.

History

Ex race car that started in the Caterham academy in c2010 and then raced in Caterham graduates.

Current owner since, 2020. Upgraded to 150bhp in 2024. Won races with both Caterham graduates and Mag7.

Now ready for the road having just been IVA'd, registered 1st Dec25 (Q-plate reg) with just 2k miles on the clock.
