2023 FORD FIESTA ST-LINE EDITION T MHEV

Right, this is the Ford Fiesta Hatchback 1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid mHEV 125 ST-Line Edition, and I must say, its rather a clever little thing. Now, I know what youre thinking: Hybrid system, mild electrification, sporty trim is this all going to be frightfully complicated? But actually, no. Ford has done that sensible thing where the technology works quietly in the background, without demanding you have a PhD in electrical engineering just to set off to the shops. The 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine, aided by its mild-hybrid wizardry, is surprisingly sprightlyalmost enthusiastic, reallyyet still efficient enough to make you feel appropriately smug at the fuel pumps. The ST-Line Edition trimmings add a bit of visual excitement: sporty body styling, a slightly firmer stance, and an interior that says, Yes, I enjoy driving, but I dont need everyone to know about it. Inside, everything is exactly where youd expect it to be, which is something I always appreciate. The controls are logical, the seats are supportive without being show-offs, and the whole affair feels well screwed together. In short, its a sensible, well-engineered Fiesta that looks a bit racy, behaves impeccably, and uses modern technology in a grown-up way. A very good little car, this.
