The Porsche 911 Speedster is based on the 911 Speedster concept car revealed to the world in 2018, with an appearance characteristic of the 356 “No.1” Roadster from 1948. Thus, only 1,948 units will be made of which this is number 553. Based on the 991, the Speedster is a purist, lightweight sports car featuring a weight-saving soft top and ‘double bubble’ streamliners. The 911 Speedster features a four-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine with six cylinders, producing 503bhp and 470Nm. This lightweight (1,465kg) 911 accelerates from 0-62mph in 4.0 seconds and has a top speed of 190mph.

A key option for the 911 Speedster is the Heritage Design Package, which harks back to the 1950s and ‘60s, including historic elements such as the two-tone leather interior with Cognac and golden details around the vehicle. The centre console storage compartment is also adorned with the “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” logo. A historic Porsche Crest sits on the headrest and steering wheel, whilst the “Speedster” logo decorates the dashboard. The GT Silver metallic paintwork with the front end in White in what Porsche calls the “spears” design, are a reminder of the past, with both elements evoking the classic 356 Speedsters.
