This is a rare UK supplied example with the highly desirable factory 030 Performance Package. Costing some £10,000 extra this emulated the SL55 AMG F1 Pace Cars used in this period and included removal of the speed limiter giving a 186mph top speed, revised front air dam with extra intakes, extra oil cooler, upgraded brakes and multi-part wheels as fitted to the SL65 V12 AMG and a limited slip differential. These rare models are now highly prized amongst Mercedes collectors.

This example finished in metallic black with full anthracite Nappa leather features other options including Panoramic glass folding roof, heated and ventilated multi contour seats, Parktronic, and Linguatronic. It remains in fantastic original order throughout with 52,000 miles recorded and has a full history, mainly with Mercedes dealers along with a few well-regarded marque specialists. Indeed, an indication of how well it has been maintained is indicated by the extended Mercedes warranty in place until 2019, at which point Mercedes ceased to offer it due to age.

It comes with a full book pack including stamped service book along with a great number of invoices and MOT certificates.
