1962 Triumph TR4 Fast Road / Road Rally Car – ESK 442

This Triumph TR4 has been prepared to a fast road and road rally specification and represents a very appealing opportunity for an enthusiast looking for a usable, well-sorted classic with genuine character and rally pedigree. Registered ESK 442, the car combines period charm with a host of sensible upgrades aimed at improving performance, reliability and driving enjoyment.

The engine benefits from a Stage 2 cylinder head and tubular exhaust manifold, delivering a noticeable uplift in performance while retaining excellent road manners. Reliability and usability have been enhanced with electronic ignition, twin coils, a high-torque starter motor and an alternator conversion, alongside an electric cooling fan and a spin-on oil filter conversion, making the car far easier to live with on longer journeys and competitive events alike.

Overdrive is fitted on second, third and fourth gears, providing excellent flexibility for rally work and relaxed cruising. The driving experience is further improved by a Revington TR handling kit, which sharpens the chassis and gives the car a more composed and confidence-inspiring feel on the road.
