Taking design cues from both, being open-topped like the Aero 8 and as achingly good-looking as the Aeromax, it is a uniquely hand-built British masterpiece with the might of BMW behind it, the Aero Supersports being powered by their superb 4.8-litre V8.

With plenty of power (368 bhp) shifting not a great deal of weight, the Aero SuperSports lives up to its name. It is seriously rapid in a way that few cars are today. Morgan conservatively quotes a 0-60 mph time of 4 seconds and on to over 170 mph. There are no electronic “driver aids” to get in the way, it’s just you andyour right foot making the decisions. Take the roof off to enjoy it more and get the most from the epic soundtrack.
