1993 PORSCHE 968

For sale is my Porsche 968 in Horizon Blue with a grey leather interior.

The car is currently showing just over 90,000 miles and benefits from an extensive service history, with early maintenance carried out by Porsche main dealers and later work undertaken by respected independent specialists. Most recently, in June, the car received a major service at Wrightune in Wallingford, where it was thoroughly inspected and found to be in good mechanical health.

Specification is largely standard, including electric sports seats, with a few tasteful upgrades:

• Promax performance chip, improving mid-range response

• Uprated dampers, giving a feel closer to the 968 Sport

The leather interior has recently been professionally refinished, restoring the colour and overall presentation.

Bodywork presents well for its age, with only a few minor, age-related blemishes as you would expect from a car of this era.

Mechanically the car runs very well. During my ownership the only significant issue was a failed catalytic converter, which was resolved by fitting a complete second-hand exhaust system.

A well-sorted, usable example of a modern classic that’s increasingly hard to find in this condition.
