Practicality, reliability and watertight build quality are not usually associated with sports cars, but for over 64 years, the Porsche 911 has not only become synonymous with its thoughtful ergonomics, durability and craftsmanship, but one of the most convincing arguments for owning a sports car that has almost everything to thrill an enthusiast.

The 996 model is the first-generation of water-cooled 911, and it soon found an appreciative market, solidifying the 911’s legend, but rewarded Porsche with a sales success that would be attributed to stabilising the company. Redesigned from the ground up, styled with an uncluttered interior but retaining the iconic 911 silhouette, it was also cheaper to maintain, stronger and featured state-of-the-art technology.

Offered with four-wheel drive, utilising a 3.4-litre flat-6 engine producing almost 300 bhp, this 2000 Cabriolet comes to market after ~12 years with our vendor and is finished in 'Balsalt Black Metallic', with a Saffron leather interior. It comes with an impressive provenance, which includes 18 service stamps, a binder of invoices reaching back to when the car was new, including its original bill of sales. It has an MOT to December 2026, was last serviced in May 2025 and comes with two keys.
