This May 2001 example has covered 123,000 miles.

This M5 is a sought after, Lci model.

The condition and the way this car drives is a testament to the current owner.

I have been lucky enough to drive many E39 M5’s, some with very low mileage. I have enjoyed testing this car for the last few days and I can confirm this M5 drives as tight and fresh as any you will find. The engine fires up instantly from cold, no vanos noises etc. The engine sounds and performs perfectly. The gearbox and clutch feel good, a very precise gear change and the clutch feels just right. The current owner, spent a long time finding the best example he could. He has then spent the last 12 years having all the suspension replaced, shocks replaced etc, so it handles as well as it performs.

This M5 has low owners, the current owner has enjoyed this car for 12 years. A keen BMW club member, the attention to detail on this car speaks for itself.

Finished in the classic M5 colour, Le Mans Blue. The paintwork and bodywork are excellent. Please see the detailed walkaround videos on our website, no dings, no dents and no rust.

Inside this car is very special, with Black / Le Mans Blue extended leather interior. Again this is in excellent condition throughout.

Underneath of this car is just as good, sills, jacking points, arches, inner box sections, all in excellent condition.

The car comes with an excellent service history. We have all the original manuals, a fully stamped original service book, a massive folder with all old MOT’s, service receipts, receipts for all parts replaced etc.

The M5 has the correct Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres all round, all with plenty of tread.

The alloys have the correct factory finish and are also in excellent condition.

The spec on this car is very good, notable options are the glass electric sunroof, heated and electric seats, electric rear blind, auto lights, auto folding mirrors ..

Inside, a very clever upgrade to the audio system, with the addition of a Bluebox upgrade, allowing Bluetooth music streaming, full phone integration whilst keeping every looking stock.

It even comes with the original Motorola phone ..

A couple of improvements have been made, when all the suspension was due to be replaced, it has been upgraded to Bilstein B12 Pro Kit. This is the most recommended setup, keeping the handling very much as factory, not harsh etc.

Also, the exhaust has been subtlety upgraded with Russ Fellow Stainless Steel back boxes, giving just a touch deeper noise, perfect …

Both headlights replaced, new brakes all round in recent years …
