INTERIOR

Luxury, comfort and space in abundance, a cabin to overwhelm and delight. This prime example has massive specification. Trimmed in sumptuous Mushroom Leather, (Code 205A), this was a £1,900.76 factory option and still presents as new today commensurate with the ultra-low mileage covered. The ergonomically designed seats have full electric memory which encompasses the steering adjustment too. All Burr Walnut capping and trim sections are pristine, as is the carpeting having been protected by expensive Mercedes carpet mats from new of which there are two sets! The LCD display for the trip computer, clock and outside temperature has no failing pixels. Full digital climate control along with electric sunroof is a rare combination and emphasises the first owners mentality, that cost was of little importance! The first aid kit remains unopened in the rear centre armrest. Inside the immaculate boot area is the complete tool roll and jack, all unused. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

At the time, this was the largest power plant available. The range topping six-cylinder in-line Mercedes 3199cc engine that produces 220bhp, enough to achieve a top speed of 146mph. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

Factory cost-optional 8-hole light alloy rims with sports chassis are suburb with a few miniscule imperfections shod in brand new Michelin Primacy 215/55 R16 tyres. The spare remains unused and still has the coloured banding visible. The dual-circuit brakes with discs all round, ventilated to the front, feature a brake booster and anti-lock braking system, (ABS), for impressive stopping power.
