This car has a lovely history …

When the original owner, a Mr T Ibbot visited his local BMW dealer, Sycamore BMW in Peterborough to order his unique specification 330 SE, he was disappointed with the insistence that he would be well advised to order the 330 M Sport model instead, due to the options chosen. The importance placed on the chrome window surround, a N/A option on the M Sport, was ignored, so he left the dealer feeling disgruntled.

He then discovered that he could order exactly the spec he wanted, with no quibbling, direct from a German BMW dealer, to UK specification, saving a considerable sum of money on the list price to. This news meant an order being promptly placed, which resulted in this example, first registered in April 2002, with the important option code, 0812 National Version Great Britain.

Mr Ibbot cherished this car, a retirement present to himself. When he passed, ownership transferred to his wife, who enjoyed the car until 2015, when she part exchanged the car at a VW main dealer. Crowsons of Spalding.

The VW main dealer would not normally entertain selling a car of this age, but the amazing condition, with a mileage of just 13,625, meant it was sold from the the VW main dealer, as an approved used car.

It was soon spotted and purchased by the next owner. He worked as a detailer at high brand dealership. As part of his job, he was used to spotting the tiniest blemishes on a car. He couldn’t believe the outstanding, original condition of this BMW, so he purchased the 330 and it took pride of place in his garage.

It comes with all a large folder full of all old MOT’s, all service receipts etc, along with a letter from the detailer, confirming the outstanding, original condition of the car and the fact that he changed the oil and filters every year, no matter how low the annual mileage was.

Officially serviced at 10,027, 11,857, 13,664, 21,950, 30,398 and 30,991 Miles.

Mot’d until May 2026, no advisories.
