2002 PORSCHE 911

This Porsche 996 Carrera 4 is a 2002 car, so has the later-style headlamps, larger 3.6-litre engine and revised interior. It has a refreshingly low mileage of under 70,000 and has been very well maintained.

The Porsche is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with 18-inch Carrera wheels shod with Pirelli PZero tyres.

The interior is full Metropole Blue leather with Soft Ruffled Leather seats. Options include Bose Sound Package, cruise control (rare on 996s), heated seats, Litronic headlamps, rear Park Assist, PSM (Porsche Stability Management), silver instrument bezels, Alcantara headlining and a rear wiper. A useful upgrade is a Pioneer head unit that has been neatly installed and gives CarPlay/Android Auto, DAB radio and a rear parking camera.

The Porsche 996 has a very well documented service history, with a fully stamped book plus a large folder of invoices, showing how well it has been looked after. In addition to annual servicing, other recent work includes an uprated IMS bearing, new water pump, new rear tyres, and new air conditioning condensers. It will have a major service before we sell it.

Dansk silencers give a wonderful exhaust note without being intrusive. The Tiptronic transmission is a sensible choice for everyday driving, as it offers super-smooth automatic gear changes, with the option to make manual shifts using the fingertip steering wheel buttons.
