The BMW M3, first launched in 1986, was developed with motorsport in mind and the result was wildly popular drivers car that blended practicality with performance. The original E30 M3s have become hugely collectable and the benchmark by which many other M-cars are still judged. Over the years and generations (E36, E90, F80 and now G80) the M3 has grown in size and sophistication, but always with a focus on driver involvement at its heart.

The F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 of 2014 was the first M-car (after the 1M) to have a turbocharged engine, causing some purists to question whether BMW had lost its way, but subsequent press reviews put pay to those concerns and the F80 series M-cars went on to become the best selling M3 to that point in time. The performance from the 3 litre twin turbocharged engine was a significant step on from anything that had gone before, with the increased torque making the biggest difference to general drivability.

Alongside the 4 door M3, BMW produced the 2 door M4, which came in both coupe and convertible form. The latter having a clever folding hardtop arrangement that gives the practicality and rigidity of a solid roof for the winter months, with the ability to enjoy open air motoring when the weather is good.

The car we are delighted to offer is a lovely F83 Convertible, which the current owner purchased 2 years ago to use for special occasions only. The car is presented in Mineral White with Red leather interior and benefits from Harmon Kardon Stereo, Head-up Display, Heated Seats with Neck Warmer, DCT, Carbon Fibre interior trim and Carbon Fibre exterior spoilers and sills on top of the standard M3/4 features.
