We have been supplying special 911s for over two decades and have never seen one with all the “high desirability” items of factory specification in one place, making this a real joy to bring to market. Most notably, this is one of the very first 996s ever produced, meaning it is powered by throttle cable rather than fly-by-wire. This super-responsive characteristic is now actively hunted by collectors and drivers alike and widely regarded as highly investible. Furthermore, the few early cable-throttle cars are famed for being the lightest water-cooled 911s ever made – even lighter than the stripped-out, track-focused 996 GT3 that followed – which is why they are often referred to as “baby GT3s.”

Adding to the rarity, this car was specified from factory with a mechanical Limited Slip Differential, making this an uncompromising, performance-focused example. It also benefits from option 014 – the Sports Package – including wider wing-back and hard-back sports seats along with larger performance brakes. The legendary M030 suspension, requested by the first owner, delivers stiffer dampers and a 10mm factory drop, giving this car a far more purposeful stance than a standard 996.

Finished in arguably one of the most desirable colours of the generation, Ocean Jade Metallic, this is an uber-rare shade that is increasingly celebrated in wider Porsche circles. Of course, this is also a manual, rear-wheel-drive Carrera – not the more commonly specified four-wheel-drive variant.
