The SV model was initially marketed as a cheaper, entry level example of the existing VT model, to achieve this Lamborghini returned to its original RWD format, which in turn reduced the overall weight, increased the BHP of the engine and replaced the leather interior with Alcantara throughout the interior of the car, the exterior of the vehicle received a number of visual changes, most notably the revised engine cover with the signature roof scoops, an adjustable rear wing, racing fuel cap, revised front bumper and OZ Racing 5 Spoke Alloy wheels which housed the larger brakes, what started out as the so called budget friendly option is today considered as one of the most sought after variations of the Diablo.

Delivered to the UK from new, this 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV remained in the UK until 2012 when it was exported to Japan, where it remained until September 2016 when it returned to the UK, acquired by its penultimate owner in August 2017 it remained in his possession until May 2024, it has been well cared for with a number of invoices present for recent maintenance work including a clutch replacement carried out at 38,700KM. Supplied by us to its most recent owner in August of 2024 we have overseen its ongoing maintenance and will carry out a service prior to delivery to the next keeper.
