Description
Premier GT are delighted to present this exceptional 2017 (17) Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupe, number 63 of just 99 examples produced worldwide and one of approximately 60 right-hand-drive cars. Finished in Lava Red Metallic – the model-specific launch colour for the Zagato – this remarkable car has covered just 1,960 miles from new.
Aston Martin’s bold decision to unveil the Vanquish Zagato at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este spoke volumes. Set against a backdrop of some of the world’s most exquisite and historically significant automobiles, a modern supercar could easily have been overshadowed. Instead, the Zagato captivated press and public alike, its exquisitely coach-built form ensuring it stood proudly among the very finest. The Vanquish Zagato remains one of the most celebrated modern Aston Martins ever produced.
At its heart lies the last Aston Martin 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12, an unregulated masterpiece updated to produce 592 bhp, setting it apart from the standard Vanquish. The soundtrack is nothing short of spine-tingling, with a quad-exhaust system that, when placed into Sport mode, delivers an unrestricted V12 howl that few modern cars can rival.
The Zagato’s bodywork is a technical as well as aesthetic triumph. Formed entirely from a single piece of carbon fibre, there are no visible joins anywhere on the exterior – a remarkable engineering feat. Signature Zagato design elements include the iconic double-bubble roof, which flows seamlessly into the rear glass window, a feature exclusive to the Coupé and Shooting Brake editions. Further distinguishing details include the unique blade-style LED rear lights, derived directly from the Aston Martin Vulcan racing car.
Supplied new by Aston Martin Works in March 2017, this example benefits from a full Aston Martin main dealer service history, with the most recent service carried out in July 2025.

A standout feature of this car is the highly sought-after Villa D’Este Package, specified at a cost of £16,000 from the factory. Named in tribute to the original show car revealed on the shores of Lake Como, this package adds gold-finished exterior badges, wheel spokes and side strakes, along with gold detailing to the interior switchgear and dashboard vents. Completing the package is a signed engine plaque bearing the signatures of Andrea Zagato himself and Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman.
The interior is trimmed in black leather with extensive hand-stitched gold detailing, including the distinctive Zagato “Z” motif stitched throughout the cabin and extending into the headlining. Among Lava Red examples, this car stands apart as the only one offered with this particular interior specification; many others were finished with a more ‘common' black and red contrast leather. The gold stitching is believed to have been specified on only a very small number of cars, making this interior exceptionally rare. Crucially, the gold detailing mirrors the Villa D’Este accents perfectly, creating a cohesive and highly considered specification that enhances both desirability and collectability.
Beyond its rarity and visual drama, the Vanquish Zagato is also a superb car to drive. Extensive use of carbon fibre results in a lighter overall package, while the upgraded 8-speed Touchtronic III ZF gearbox, adaptive suspension, and carbon-ceramic brakes as standard deliver a driving experience that is both engaging and confidence-inspiring. This example is further enhanced by the desirable One-77 steering wheel and modern usability features including Apple CarPlay.
The Lava Red Metallic paintwork is protected by a full-body PPF application and is presented in immaculate condition, entirely in keeping with its low mileage and careful ownership.
Originally invoiced at over £545,000, this Vanquish Zagato represents an extraordinary opportunity today to acquire one of the most significant modern Aston Martins ever built – combining rarity, artistry, performance, and long-term collectability in a way few cars can match.
The car is supplied complete with its original book packs, bespoke Zagato car cover, AML pen, Aston Martin battery conditioner, umbrella, and the model-specific registration plate TH15 ZAG.
For the discerning collector, the Vanquish Zagato occupies a truly special place in Aston Martin history. It represents the final chapter of the naturally aspirated V12 era, clothed in one of the most beautiful and technically ambitious bodies ever to leave Gaydon. With ultra-low production numbers, exceptional provenance, and a specification that closely echoes the original Villa d’Este show car, this example offers not just ownership, but custodianship of a modern automotive icon. As the industry moves inexorably towards electrification and forced induction, opportunities to acquire cars of this character, artistry, and emotional depth are becoming increasingly rare.
