2004 MERCEDES-BENZ E

For sale is my 2004 W211 E500 Avantgarde in 723U Cubanite Silver.

Mileage is currently 139656. I have owned the car for 9 years.

The car has an extensive service history and specification. This includes:

- Panoramic full-length sunroof

- Heated and ventilated front seats

- Electronically adjustable multi-contour memory front seats.

- Electronically adjustable steering column

- 4-zone climate control

- Front and rear parking sensors

- Airmatic air suspension

- Comand NTG1 with DVD sat nav

The car’s bodywork is in good condition but has some blemishes/small paint chips. The most obvious are:

- Scratch to n/s/f bumper corner

- Scratch to n/s/r door

- Some rust appearing on the inside of the rear wheel arches. I have treated this with Bilt-Hamber and it hasn’t got any worse

Overall I’d say the car is in very good condition. The car drives excellently, the airmatic suspension works in all settings and the 7G transmissions shifts smoothly.

The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears in the leather upholstery.

I have removed the 6-disc CD changer and replaced it with a Mr.12volt P600 bluetooth unit which supports music streaming from your phone and has a USB/microSD card slot.

All interior electrics work with the exception of:

- Front passenger seat electronic backrest control can occasionally stick;

- Rear driver side window switch is sticky - the window works perfectly from the driver’s switch

- Occasionally the O/S headlight throws up an error/light out warning - the headlight works fine so it might be due to an non-OEM bulb?

The car has a matching set of Uniroyal Rainsport tyres fitted in 2022 with plenty of tread.

The car has taken me to Le Mans, the Nurburg ring 24hr and a number of trips to France and Belgium without missing a beat.

The previous owner had the secondary cats removed and a X-pipe fitted - the car is quiet when cruising (probably quieter than my stock S211 E500 estate on the motorway) but has a lovely V8 roar when accelerating.

During my ownership the car has been serviced every year at either Keys Mercedes or MB of Medway.

The car is MoT’d until 12/11/2026 (4 advisories for Oil leak, but not excessive, Nearside Rear Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material, Offside Rear Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material, Rear Exhaust mounting defective Rubbers deteriorated) and was last serviced at Keys on 6/11/2025 at 139,584 miles.

The service history includes:

- Idler pulley, tensioner and aux belt replaced 2026

- New front and rear discs and pads and ABS sensor 2024

- Brake fluid change 2023

- New starter motor 2023

- New Yuasa Battery 2023

- New centre prop coupling/bearing 2021
