2018 BMW 740

Thanks for looking at my lovely 740d. With it’s 4 wheel drive and 316bhp 6 cyclinder diesel engine, it’s a perfect combination of performance and fuel economy, always returning at least 45mpg on the motorway.

We’ve owned the car for 18 months, and purchased it from a BMW main dealer (Group 1 Beaconsfield). Just been replaced with a Maserati Levante S, so it’s available immediately.

This is a rare, well looked after example with a full BMW main dealer service history (all shown in the iDrive), and was last serviced at Dick Lovett Bristol in May 2025, and is showing as due its next service in May 2027, or 10,000 miles (as can be seen in the photos.

It’s currently on 63,000 miles, but this will increase as I still occasionally use it, as leaving it sitting around won’t do it any good!

MOT is valid until 9th September 2026.

It had one of the air springs replaced under warranty back in September, but other than that, it’s been faultless for the 25000 miles that I’ve completed in it.

20” light alloy M double spoke style 648 M wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres with good tread all round

M Sport brakes with blue callipers.

The car has been garaged throughout my ownership, and we’ve loved owning BMW’s flagship car. The looked after ones are becoming hard to find now, but this one is definitely in that category.

When I purchased it, I added the extended RAC warranty, which runs until September 2027, which, according to the paperwork which is present, can be transferred to the new owner, but I will speak to the RAC to confirm this!

Proof of comprehensive insurance will be required if you’d like to test drive the car. I tend to use AXA 1 day cover. Otherwise I’m happy to take you out in the car.

Payment via bank transfer only, no cash.

As we’ve replaced the car, we’re not interested in any part exchanges.

Low ball offers will be ignored. I’m not desperate to sell the car, so won’t accept them. Reasonable offers are however, invited.
