Overview
The Porsche GT3, whichever generation you look at, has always been at the forefront of pure adrenaline-fuelled performance and Stuttgart's flagship remains about as desirable as they come. From the very first 996 GT3 way back in 1999 to the latest 992 incarnation, these bastions of dynamism continue to excite and enthral all but the most boringly dispassionate of folk.
The ethos for the GT3 has never wavered from that initial idea: to create a race car for the road and it's an ideology that just simply works. With so much motorsport heritage and know-how under its collective belt Porsche certainly knows a thing or two about making cars go fast but it's that incendiary performance combined with a certain usability that makes the GT3 so captivating as a road car. The 991 is no exception.
Introduced in 2013 and remaining in production for six years, the third go round for the GT3 was another stroke of genius from Porsche, featuring as it did a brand new 3.8-litre flat-six engine that produced 469bhp. Not only that but with many new suspension components, four-wheel steering, a wider front track and a trick active diff, the car handled sublimely and remains arguably one of the most agile 911s money can buy.
Still an absolute stunner in the looks department the 991 got some especially tasty dished rear wheels. Plus the iconic rear spoiler remained, providing all the downforce one could possibly require when driving enthusiastically.
This particular example looks incredible with its arrow-straight grey bodywork that's perfectly complimented by a set of recently refurbished gold factory wheels with new centre locks as reported by the vendor and the car has clearly been cherished throughout its life. Complete with a stamped service book showing Porsche main dealer service history and a fresh, advisory-free MOT the condition of the mechanicals is surely unquestionable and the car presents beautifully throughout, from the extended leather interior to the PPF protected paintwork. If you're after a stunning GT3 that ticks all the boxes then this could be the (nine nine) one.

Summary
Porsche perfection? Quite possibly. Certainly there are few cars that can provide as much in the way of pure driving pleasure. Combine that with the car's staggering level of ability and engineering prowess and the Porsche 911 991 GT3 is a very difficult car to ignore. This 2014 model, complete with factory replacement engine and impressive Porsche service history looks spectacular and is clearly a shining example of the marque.
