Description
Supplied new to the UK, this 246 GTS was ordered on 9 May 1973 by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd on behalf of S.G.M. (Garages) Ltd and specified in the rare and highly desirable Bianco Polo Park (20-W-152) with Nero 161 trim and black carpets. Believed to be one of just four UK cars in this colour — and one of only 247 Dinos finished in white — it was completed on 31 August 1973 and first registered on 16 October 1973.
A four-registered-keeper example with long-term ownership history, the car was retained by its second keeper for nearly two decades before being acquired in the late 1990s by respected Ferrari specialist John Pogson of Italia Autosport, who undertook restoration works including repainting in its original white.
Sold via Sotheby’s in 1998 and later by renowned Ferrari specialists Foskers in 2002, the car remained with its penultimate owner for 14 years. In early 2026 it was once again refinished in its correct original Bianco Polo Park by a respected paint and body shop.
A matching-numbers example supplied with a comprehensive history file, including copies of original factory correspondence, detailed ownership records, a report by Dino authority Matthias Bartz and verification from the Maranello Archives.
A rare-colour, UK-supplied Dino GTS with outstanding provenance and collector appeal.
