2005 HONDA S2000

Restored Honda S2000 for sale. Please view all pictures before reading this description as they show the work that has gone into making this a very well sorted S2000. A genuine turn key and enjoy example.

We purchased this car from keeper number 5 who worked between the UK and China but in recent years was spending more time in China and subsequently moved back there. The S2000 had been sat in his mates garage doing minimal miles between MOT's in his ownership.

The car was to be sent to Webuyanycar but we managed to grab it before it went there.

The car had a few issues but the main thing was the underside was very clean which can be seen from the pictures, making this car well worth saving.

The car came with stacks of paperwork including a new soft top roof in 2022 which is still in great condition. The paperwork also shows stacks of maintenance including larger items such as a clutch and slave cylinder around 75k miles and the service book is full of stamps from it's earlier years.

The work we have completed to prepare this car for sale I believe goes above and beyond most. This includes:

1.) Rear differential removed, checked and resealed with genuine Honda drive shaft and prop shaft seals and fresh hypoid oil to address an leak. Diff internals in excellent condition.

2.) Full respray in original colour by epic paintwork in Chorley. Please see their Facebook and Instagram for lots of pictures of the process and the finished product. We also supplied brand new rubber rear wheel arch trim which they bonded to the arches to prevent the usual sagging and water ingress and future rust issues.

3.) We purchased a good secondhand low mileage Catalytic converter and heat shield with new bolts to address a rattle from the original one.

4.) Due to a sticking front caliper, we replaced the caliper, fitted new front discs and pads and bled the entire system with fresh brake fluid. We also stripped and cleaned the rear brakes which look nearly new also.

5.) Due to the 5 year old Dunlop tyres looking slightly perished we fit a full set of brand new Falken Azenis tyres (Japanese tyre brand to suit the car)

6.) We gave the car a full service which included all the filters, genuine oils and also valve clearances which made it obvious that the car has always had regular services as the top end of the engine was exceptionally clean (please see pictures) and they only needed minimal adjustment.

7.) The car currently has a temporary snap off steering wheel on whilst we wait for the original one to be retrimmed by Royal steering wheels in a week or so.

8.) We also performed a full geometry setup on the car using our fast roads settings which are a good balance between handling and tyre life. The car drives straight and true and handles very well.

This must be one of the best around and I really wouldn't let the mileage put you off, come and see it and drive it, compare it to other ones you may have viewed, I am confident you will be impressed.
