Finished in striking red with a black Mini Cooper half leather interior, this Mini has been tastefully rebuilt in classic Mini Cooper style, combining iconic looks with the ease of automatic driving. UK right-hand drive car, supplied with V5C and private six-digit G-registration plate included in the sale.

Condition & Restoration

Previously recorded as Cat D (non-structural damage) many years ago, the car was dry-stored and professionally rebuilt from a bare shell by a mechanic over a five-year period.

The restoration included:

• Complete shell rebuild and welding

• Replacement driver’s door and A-panel (correct age donor)

• Full respray

• New wiring harness

• Complete interior throughout (seats, door cards, dash, carpet, headlining, seat belts, centre console)

• New clear front and rear lights

• Wavy chrome grille

• Arch pack and alloy wheels

• New chrome bumpers, mirrors and trim

Since completion it has also had:

• New upgraded exhaust

• New brakes

• New oil and fuel lines

• New carburettor

The body is solid with no rust bubbles, and the sills and doors are excellent. The car drives very well with strong brakes and smooth automatic operation.

Ownership & Reason for Sale

Only two owners in the last 26 years since restoration.

The car was SORN during the previous owners recovery from surgery however she was sadly no longer able to drive. It has always been garaged, and she required the space for wheelchair storage so she reluctantly agreed to sell it to me.

I bought it in the hope that my wife would be able to use it but she doesn’t enjoy driving such a small car, much preferring her modern SUV!
