1967 ALFA ROMEO GT

One of the prettiest Alfa Romeos ever built. This 105 Series has been carefully restored with real attention to detail, resulting in a rare, honest example that feels loved rather than simply refurbished.

The body was already in remarkably solid condition. A new driver’s side floor pan and front valance from Classic Alfa have since been professionally fitted. The car was fully resprayed and has covered fewer than 100 miles since. The roof has been refinished, while new headlights, seals, grille heart and wipers complete the finishing touches.

The interior has been extensively refreshed with new carpets and headlining, retrimmed seats, recovered dash and parcel shelf, plus new sun visors.

The 1290cc twin-cam engine starts instantly and sounds fantastic through twin Weber carburettors. It pulls strongly with no knocks, smoke or unwanted noises. Recent work includes electronic ignition, oil service, filters, plugs and a new clutch fitted in 2025. The 5-speed gearbox is tight and precise.

The refurbished 15-inch steel wheels have been blasted and powder coated, with new tyres all round. Brakes have also been overhauled with a new master cylinder, brake lines, pads and regulator valve.

The speedometer shows 45k miles. While there’s no history to verify this, the condition of the car gives little reason to doubt it.

UK registered with V5 in my name. The car will be supplied with a fresh MOT for the new owner.

Good 105 Series cars are becoming increasingly hard to find. This is a beautifully presented, mechanically strong Alfa that has clearly benefited from significant time, money and care. A car to enjoy immediately, and one that will still feel special every time you open the garage door.
