2004 SUBARU STI COSWORTH

I am selling my road/track STI because I have acquired yet another daily and I have run out of garage space.

It's on about 75.5 k miles and had its last forged rebuild and was re-shelled on a clean Japanese shell at around 71 k miles in 2021 (rust in the original rear chassis legs). All work done by Anthony Seddon Racing after initial mapping by Scooby Clinic. I have been using it for track days, mainly at Oulton. It's registered as a Subaru STI Cosworth. As I am a certified OAP Captain Slow it has had an easy life and has always been run on low boost, which is capped at 0.8 bar, roughly equivalent to 350bhp.

Engine:

Closed deck block

2.1 stroker

RCM rods

Arrow pistons

New nitrided RCM crank

ACL main and big end bearings

Uprated 11mm RCM oil pump

Cosworth cambelt

RCM 0.78mm head gasket (600bhp)

Custom winged and baffled sump

GT30 turbo

Radium parallel fuel rails/FSE uprated fuel pump

Syvecs S6 last mapped by Mark at Scooby Clinic with a calibration switch for high, medium and low boost. 461bhp on high boost but never run again on high boost. Protections built in including oil temp.

Wide band lambda and new fuel pressure sensor

Cooling:

Mishimoto alloy radiator

Hyperflow monster front mounted intercooler

Mocal oil cooler

Transmission:

6 speed gearbox with CC Subaru paddle clutch

Body:

Reshelled in 2021 on a low mileage Japanese shell

'Rotisserie' rebuild new shell to apply rust protection to all cavities

Raptor two pack underbody protection

Original doors, fibreglass bonnet with aerocatches and bootlid used

Summit underbody and underbonnet bracing

Custom brake cooling ducts

Suspension/brakes:

BC BR coilovers

Front camber adjustable bolts and rear camber adjustable arms. -3 degrees front and -2 rear

Front AP Cosworth discs and calipers with carbon pads - plenty of life in both

Rear original Subaru Brembos

XXR wheels : four black with Uniroyal Rainsport 3 wets and four bronze with MRF dry tyres (need replacement)

Interior:

Stripped out but retains door trims

Custom Cages bolt in roll cage

Corbeau 50th Anniversary buckets on sliders

Sabelt four point harnesses

Sabelt steering wheel

Defi gauges

Custom A/F ratio meter installation in the front cubby

Carbon central console

Spares if wanted include a Cosworth baffled sump with standard oil pick up, four complete doors, various underbody panels, a dash with airbag etc etc

I am embarrassed by how much this car has cost to build but that's the way things are! Test drives only with insurance for obvious reasons
