1989 FORD FIESTA

Ford Fiesta 1.6 XR2. 1989 F reg with 108,000 miles. Car starts runs and drives and has a long MOT. We have the V5 here showing 7 previous owners. Its a decent useable car but by no means a mint show car. It does have good potential to take it to the next level.Body - Overall a solid car. Bit of surface rust showing on inner wings, rust bleb on scuttle panel and bubble on tailgate near lock. Rear arches are good under the body kit. Paintwork is perfectly presentable. Looks like front bumper has been repainted.Few age related marks on paintwork.Mechanics - We are told the engine was recently rebuilt. Its got a mild cam in it and vernier pulley, K&N filter. It starts no problem . Engine is quiet, brakes are good, gearbox is good. Overall a decent driving little car.Interior - Seats have been upgraded to Recaros with matching rear seat. original door cards. factory sunroof. Heater fan switch knob has broken and will need replaced. Heater fan itself is working ok.Wheels - Standard XR2 Alloys with good tyres.Good useable example, not a show queen but could easily be taken to the next level. i forgot how much fun these were to drive!.
