It was completely redone in 2014:
Complete disassembly down to the frame, powder coating, body respray, and aerodynamic modifications. The electrical system was completely redone, with new headlights, a complete GT3 brake system (6-pot + 4-pot), radiators, fans, and thermostats for transmission oil and engine oil were added, along with a larger water radiator and larger fans (for summer traffic).
And over 16 years, many small improvements and modifications have been made to make it reliable and incredibly fast (tested up to 336 km/h! without any problems).
Numerous spare parts, documents, photos, and invoices are available.
The engine cost over €35,000 and the gearbox €18,000...
Here's a list of the features and work done:
It benefits from an engine and aerodynamic/design update, carried out in 2019 with the new RS look.
In Italy, it is classified as a "classic car" and enjoys significant tax breaks.
It is now powered by a modified and race-balanced 7.0-liter Chevrolet 'LS7' V8, said to deliver up to 800 hp at 8,000 rpm.
A reinforced Porsche Turbo G52 five-speed manual transmission, complete with radiator, fan, and thermostat.
The engine and transmission are new: they have only been driven 3,000 km.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES This GTR's powerful 7.0-liter 'LS7' V8 features Carillo pistons, COMP camshafts, titanium connecting rods, a Holley intake manifold, dual titanium springs, Trick Flow racing heads, a Holley 105mm intake butterfly valve, a larger radiator, dual oversized Mishimoto fans, a custom dual-intake airbox, eight oversized injectors, four Bosch low- and high-pressure fuel pumps, a pressure regulator with gauge, a new "Nourice" anti-squat system, foam fuel tanks, a remapped MS ECU, a dual-exit "X" exhaust with catalytic converters and a racing bend, a Peterson oil vapor escape valve, and Clevite tri-metallic bushings.
The engine and transmission also feature two additional oil coolers with dedicated fans and thermostats.
RS-style exterior features: Includes an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing with reinforced and raised stainless steel mounts for increased visibility, carbon side skirts, a front spoiler, and a carbon rear diffuser.
Steering geometry optimized for speeds over 300 km/h, custom RS-style aerodynamics with multiple air intakes and additional exhausts. Six additional clamshell locking systems (aero-catch, pin, reinforced hinges), reinforced suspension mounts, acoustic and thermal insulation, LED taillights, and a manual internal brake adjuster.
Stopping power is provided by ventilated Brembo brakes from a Porsche GT3, upgraded master cylinders and slave cylinders, while the suspension features reinforced Porsche CV joints and adjustable shock absorbers.
The cabin features air conditioning/heating, upgraded master cylinders and slave cylinders, an anti-theft system, Sparco four-point seat belts, a Sparco steering wheel, and a full fire extinguisher system. The car is red and rides on 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with Toyo tires.
The interior is upholstered in black and gray Alcantara, with red "Ultima" lettering on the headrests.
A collection of numerous invoices will be provided, along with various spare parts and two sets of new Nankang + Falken spare tires. CONDITION: Please note: The car was completely repainted in 2014 and again in 2020. There are small cracks in the fiberglass from road use, some cracks and bubbles from the exhaust heat on the rear decklid. Imperfections on the front end are due to the low ride height.
CarFax shows a logical progression in kilometers.
SERVICE HISTORY: The invoices in the photo gallery document maintenance and services performed over the last 10 years. In 2024, Galante Motori / LB Motors replaced the fuel pump, thermostat, all oil, filter, CV joints and ignition wires, a larger injector, a new relay, radiator oil, one fan, thermostat, bulkhead, oil and water pump, and coolant. In 2025, LB Motors replaced all oil, filter, relay, and two larger fans. The seller specifies that major restoration work was performed in 2016 and that the current engine and transmission were installed in 2019. See LB Motors' statement for the numerous replacements performed between 2021 and 2025.
