1998 500 SL 40th Anniversary. Crimson Red Metallic (019) with grey nappa leather interior, extended wood trim and a perfect Pano hardtop. 1 of 500 produced. The perfect combination of the M119 engine and 5 Gtronic transmission.

81,000 miles with limited service history but MOTs back the mileage up. This car has been dry stored for too many periods in its life and needs to be used!

Apparently was Cat D in 2011 and it appears it had new headlights and front bumper. The original Xenon headlights are £3500 from Mercedes! Probably a big factor behind the decision to write it off. I wasn't aware of this fact when I bought it and there's no sign of it having been repaired. Bonnet and front wings original.

Original hood still on the car and would need the windows replaced or restitched - the hood is still perfect.
