History

The GP3 was designed with a single-minded focus, track-ready performance for the road. This example has lived a life of pampered luxury, avoiding the track-day toll that many of its siblings have endured.

With such remarkably low mileage, the car presents exactly as it would have on the day of delivery.

This example was registered by the supplying dealer, before being purchased by the only owner, who ran the car for one summer & then the car has lived tucked away as part of a vast collection.

Upon purchase by ourselves, we had the car serviced by our local main dealer & we have had the first MOT carried out as well as our usual prep.

Body & Paintwork

Only available in exclusive Racing Grey Metallic with contrasting Melting Silver roof & mirror caps, this example presents beautifully as you can see from the pictures.

The GP specific aero kit sets the GP3 apart from every other Mini & gives the car a real presence on the road.

The car is in beautiful condition & that includes the carbon fibre trims, with only a couple of very touch ins on the front. All trims & wheels present as you would expect, the car looks absolutely stunning.

Interior & Trim

Step inside, & the GP3’s intent is clear. This is a dedicated two-seater, with the rear bench deleted in favour of a Chilli Red strut brace which increases body rigidity.

The interior features metal shift paddles & Alcantara/Leather John Cooper Works sports seats, which remain in “as new” condition. The digital instrument cluster & infotainment screen are flawless.

The interior of this car, much like the rest of the car, is in fantastic condition throughout as you would expect from a 3000 mile car.

Engine

Under the bonnet sits the most powerful engine ever fitted to a production Mini, a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged unit producing 306 HP and 450 Nm of torque.

This enables a 0-62 mph sprint in just 5.2 seconds & a top speed of 164 mph.

As you can see the engine bay is pristine.

The soundtrack is provided by a model-specific twin-pipe sports exhaust system that delivers a purposeful, raspy note without being overbearing.

Running Gear

As per the rest of the car, the underside presents very well, having been stored in a carpeted indoor area.

The GP3 features a bespoke suspension setup, sitting 10mm lower than the standard JCW with increased front camber to sharpen turn-in.

Power is sent to the front wheels via an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox & a mechanical LSD, ensuring incredible traction out of corners.

The braking system is equally impressive, featuring 360mm front discs with 4-piston fixed calipers finished in red.

The car drives with a level of precision & “go-kart” agility that simply cannot be found in any other hot hatch on the market.
