FK AK coilovers

Airtec Front mounted intercooler

Ramair induction kit

Silicone hoses

312mm front and 256mm vented rear brembo discs, Seat Leon Cupra calipers, brembo pads, conversion hoses and rear pipes, fluid change.

Double din bluetooth headunit - older Chinese unit, but works well.

Good points:

For a 20 year old car it’s all in good order. No major rust or damage, engine pulls well and has never let us down.

A solid base for further modifying for show or track use.

Whilst we’ve carried out some modifications, my wife was adamant it didn’t need more power! It’s never been mapped and the exhaust system is standard.

Bad points:

Close up photos of worst areas of bodywork - some bubbling under the paint and a small dent on the roof.

Some wear to the drivers bolster.

Syncromesh can crunch dropping from third to second gear - common to all 9N3’s.

Coilovers are harsh. I’ve had FK’s on an Audi A4 and they were great, on this they’re very firm. Some will like it but it’s very noticeable. We’d considered changing to shocks and springs but never found the right time.

Reason for selling:

We bought this as an additional when the Bristol Clean Air Zone was introduced as its CAZ compliant, but now our main car is okay in town the Polo gets little use.
