2002 Subaru

This car has been in our ownership from new. We purchased it new from a Subaru dealer in Japan while working there, brought it with us when we moved back to the UK, and later to France, so it has remained with us ever since.

It has been registered in France since 2008 following DRIRE homologation carried out by us.

Mileage is 57,800 km from new (approx. 36,000 miles).

EJ208 twin-turbo engine with the original 5-speed manual gearbox.

The car remains completely original with no modifications. The factory 185 km/h speed limiter is still in place and even the well-known “Valley of Death” is still present, confirming the original twin-turbo system is intact. It is right-hand drive, as originally delivered for the Japanese market.

This is a rare GT-B E-Tune II, one of the final and most desirable BH5 variants, and increasingly difficult to find today in original, unmodified condition.

Recent maintenance includes a full timing belt service (belt, pulleys and ancillary components) using genuine Subaru parts, along with new spark plugs, filters and a new battery. All tyres have more than 5 mm of tread.

The car has been lightly used over the past eight years and has spent most of its life parked under cover and protected by a car cover.

Cosmetically, the car presents very well for its age (23+ years), although it is not a concours example. There are a few minor imperfections consistent with careful long-term use. The paint remains original.

French Contrôle Technique (CT) valid until February 2028.

The sale includes the original Japanese audio unit (CD/MD), the original RHD headlights, currently fitted LHD headlights for EU use, original Japanese documentation, and dealer-supplied accessories including mats and other items.

The car is French registered, located in France, and ready to transfer. Registration within the EU is straightforward.
