1962 JAGUAR E-TYPE

This 1962 Series 1 3.8 E-type was originally manufactured in 1962 and dispatched to Jaguar Cars New York in June of that year. The car resided in California until 1979 when it was purchased by a gentlemen in Ontario, Canada who owned the car until late 2020 when it was purchased by its current owner. This specific car was chosen as a basis for a restoration primarily due to its very original condition and also that its original colour was Opalescent Silver Grey with Red leather. The car arrived back in the UK in 2021 and a meticulous two year restoration was embarked upon, using known experts and specialists, with every aspect of the car brought back to as-new condition. A matching-numbers example, the car still has its original engine and cylinder head. The car has covered less than a thousand miles since completion and is now available for its next owner to enjoy. The car comes with an impressive history file, documenting not just the restoration, but also the 40+ years with one owner in Canada. The last California issued numberplate is still with the car, as well as a Heritage Certificate confirming the original build details.
