Since then it's had a number of updates, somewhat improving things, yet it has still failed to wow UK buyers. The EcoSport has a load of other rivals to contend with, most of which sell in much higher volumes. The Nissan Juke is British-built, the Peugeot 2008 has a clever interior, Renault's Captur can be had with hybrid engines and the Ford Puma – yes, from the same company – largely does what the EcoSport does but better.
