1977 Rolls Royce

An outstanding example of one of the most original Shadow 1,s which still exists. Finished in desirable Caribbean Blue Metallic with Navy Leather. Supplied locally by Heron, Edinburgh and registered 1st August 1976 to a local businessman who kept the car thoughtfully stored, and latterly driven to the end of his lengthy driveway and back during summer months, keeping the car mechanically supple. Many original artefacts remain, including Herons tax disc holder, front and rear window logos, 3 Yale spare keys in the factory envelope, supplying dealer logoed registration plates retaining its original Edinburgh registration, Quadraphonic Sound 8 track cartridges, factory applied Glycol tag and “finished” factory inspection pass out. The full original handbook pack and unused toolkit also accompanies, with greaseproof paper intact on certain tools. The underside is virtually as it left the factory. A recommissioning service was carried out in 2020 by an RR independent specialist, after it left the UK for its new home in Germany, and covered approx 3k miles since. Mainly used for dry summer runs, RR shows and meets. Such extremes to preserve originality were exercised, when new Avon Turbosteel tyres were fitted in 2020, the original Avon Piecrust tyres were retained on their original rims and set carefully aside. This is as pure and original an example as is likely to exist. Offered on behalf of the second owner in Germany, with a view to return to the UK for a suitable customer. May P/X
