1957 PORSCHE

A beautiful and sought-after classic open-top Porsche, finished in a handsome all-black colour combination.

This 356A Speedster has been previously restored and is reported to remain in very good order.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows that the car was sold new via Autohaus Krauss in Nurnberg, Germany. It also spent time in the US from the late 1960's and was later imported into the UK where it is now offered for sale with three keepers on the UK logbook.

This example is finished in black with a co-ordinating black removable hood, accented by polished metal and chrome exterior trims.

Inside, the seats and door cards are upholstered in black vinyl with a body-coloured dashboard panel.

It rides on a set of 15-inch wheels with chrome covers and Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.

The specification includes a removable roof with soft side windows as well as a set of removable side windows.

The car is accompanied by some service history (most recently at JAZ Porsche and GT One), a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the spare wheel, tool roll, and a comprehensive detail of its restoration.

This is a handsome example of the coveted Porsche 356 A Speedster, developed by the marque after influence from US-based Porsche importer Max Hoffman.
