2022 ISUZU D-MAX V-CROSS

I’m delighted to present for sale the What Van, Pick Up Of The Year 2022 / 23, our high spec Isuzu D Max, V Cross. It’s a desirable double cab truck, with huge spec, full Isuzu history, along with the Isuzu Power Upgrade, loaded with extra’s and the balance of the Isuzu manufacturer’s warranty / recovery (until 8/27).

I could talk all day about this Truck, as it’s been my daily companion for the last three years. I’m now a convert to Apple Car Play! Its been faultless, economical (for a truck), and a joy to own. I bought the Isuzu having borrowed one from my farming neighbour, who has a fleet of them, there is a reason they have become the farmer’s truck of choice.

I hunted high and low for a high spec / double cab / truck top example and purchased our V Cross spec, D Cross as an ex demonstrator with only 8k miles on the clock. I had the Isuzu power upgrade fitted at the time, it ups power from 164bhp to 205bhp, and torque from 359Nm to 450Nm, without affecting the 5 year manufacturers warranty. The power upgrade makes a massive difference, I wouldn’t have bought one without it!

For such a big, capable (3.5 tonne towing capacity etc) it’s been remarkably economical, and can return 35+ mpg on a run, and 27+ mpg when towing a loaded car trailer.

YT72NYS was first registered on 1/9/22, and has had 2 former keepers (me and its supplying main dealer). It has travelled 58,400 trouble free miles.

20k miles – RW Crawfords Isuzu, Ashford

29k miles – RW Crawfords Isuzu, Ashford

41k miles – RW Crswfords Isuzu, Ashford

52k miles – RW Crawfords Isuzu, Ashford

Its next service is due at 64k miles, or 1/9/27 (which ever is sooner).

Our D Max’s first and most recent MOT was passed with no advisories and expires on 30/9/26.

Our example looks fabulous, in striking Mercury Metallic Silver, complimented by black leather faced interior.

Our top spec D Max, V Cross is loaded with standard and safety equipment, including: Bi-LED Headlights (the best of any vehicle I’ve ever driven), auto headlights including high beam assist, LED running lights, LED rear lights, auto wipers, folding heated rear view mirrors, 8 way electrical drivers seat, heated front seats, 9 inch touch screen, blue tooth, DAB, Apple Car Play / Android Auto, CD / DVD player, 8 speaker hi fi, multiple USB / power outlets, keyless entry / exit / push button start, power windows x 4, dual climate control, cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous braking, traffic sign recognition, lane departure / prevention system / emergency lane keeping, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, rear diff lock, 4WD / high and low ratios, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill decent assist, multiple air bags, ISOFIX, stop / start system, in short it’s as fully loaded as many “executive” cars!

Given the list above, it would be easy to forget that it was also awarded the maximum 5 Star NCAP Safety Rating, also has superb off road ability, rear load capacity of over a tonne, and lowing limit of 3.5 tonnes and a max train weight of 6 tonnes!

Our rare truck is fitted with approx. £5k worth of factory / dealer options from new including: height adjustable tow bar, window wind deflectors, Alpha XS-T hard top canopy with roof racks (with rear demister and central locking), Bed Rug, seat covers (rears unused), rubber floor mats, bonnet protector, side steps and of course the Isuzu power upgrade.

Its never been off road, never waded, never been driven in low ratio, has done mainly motorway miles (some towing a car trailer some not). Its not a beat up, ex farm or builders truck, its been Quick and Big Ltd.'s company transport and will be missed. Our D Max, has also just had new front pads, and a set of 4 Maxxis Bravo A/T (265/60/18) tyres (not noisy).

Our comprehensively maintained truck, comes with full book packs, full size spare wheel, jack / tools, rubber mats, locking wheel nut socket, and 2 working remote keys.

As above, its my private vehicle, and as such will be sold as a “private sale” (No VAT), but it importantly comes with the balance of its Isuzu warranty until 31/8/2027. It has never been subject to an insurance claim, its not imported etc, a HPI report will be provided.

Many thanks for wading through our lengthy description, we believe it’s better to describe our cars fully. It is not in our interest to waste your time or ours with inaccurate descriptions. It does of course have the odd age related imperfection (which used car doesn’t), but it really is excellent.

Our Isuzu D Max, V Cross really does tick all the boxes, hugely capable, beautifully presented, perfect for work and a family, comprehensively maintained, economical, and hugely practical.
