Launched in 1997, the Porsche 996 Carrera 4 was designed as a sports grand tourer, but it was also comfortable and reliable enough to be used as a daily driver. Upon the launch, the 996 rocked Porsche fans around the world with its new front end design and smooth sides without the larger wheel arches that people were used to with a 911.

This particular example has been in Drew’s ownership for the past ~5 years, during which time it has served reliably as his daily driver. When searching for a 911, Drew was keen to find a low-mileage, low-ownership car in a timeless specification — and this black Carrera 4 ticked every box.

Throughout his ownership, it has been maintained well, with servicing kept up to date and any required work handled promptly. It’s a car that has been enjoyed properly, but also cared for as a 911 should be. A fresh MOT will be carried out before the end of the auction.
