2002 HONDA S2000

Here I have my Honda S2000 Gt.

and It’s only covered a genuine 50,000 miles. Mot until end of November. Only advisory on the mot was number plates deteriorating. I’ve replaced them both since.

Good bits.

All original keys, handbooks stereo etc.

Not so good bits.

Nearly every panel has a paint defect/imperfection. Personally I would have the whole car resprayed so bare that in mind. There is a couple of rust patches as shown in the pictures. My local painter has quoted £2500 for a full paint including the hard top.

The soft top is completely knackered and needs replacing. It has holes in it and has gone brittle so it can’t be fully put up. The electric roof works perfectly and it’s a £895 job to have a new soft top fitted in any colour.

The wheels aren’t genuine Honda and have been on the car since I’ve known it. They need a refurb. I’ve been quoted £300 for this.

General condition of the car.

Mechanically is great. Runs exactly how you would expect from a Vtec Honda red top! Starts on the button.

The car has had periods where it hasn’t been used. The longest period was 3 years from memory.

This was just down to life commitments of the previous owner. I’ve personally known the car for 15 years but I bought it last year with intentions of having it resprayed and a new soft top fitted. I’ve got to many other things to be getting on with so I think it’s best that I sell it. Otherwise it will be sitting around for a while before I have the chance to get on with it.

Probably the cheapest S2000 with this mileage. With it up to scratch it would achieve a profit for someone. Or it could just be used as it is.

The price is non negotiable.
