1973 JAGUAR E-TYPE

The Jaguar E-Type, a British icon that needs little introduction. This gorgeous 1973 example finished in Primrose yellow is the Series 3 model with a silky smooth 5.3 litre V12 paired to a 3 speed automatic gearbox. There are few better feelings than jumping behind the wheel on a beautiful spring day, firing up that behemoth of an engine and pointing the long bonnet at the horizon. These cars were well appointed with 4 wheel disc brakes, power steering, power antenna, radio, reclining seats and folding soft top making for a useable, practical classic perfect for weekends away or European touring. Registered in August of 1973 to a gentleman from London he retained ownership until June of 1987, clocking up 24,000 miles. The next owner kept the car for just 1 year covering less than 1,000 miles. The car was then sold through Sytner Nottingham to a gentleman who kept the car for three years. There is a letter from Frank Sytner in regards to the exceptional condition of the car and authenticity of the low mileage. The car then changed hand in 1991 at 27,000 miles to another gentleman from Nottingham who kept the car until 1999 covering just 2,000 miles. Another Nottingham owner owned the car from 1999 until 2015 bringing the mileage up to 32,370. My customers purchased the car in 2015 after a lengthy search for the best example on the market. The car was then put into climate controlled dry storage and used sparingly. Recently re commissioned and MoTd the car presents beautifully and is likely to be one of the best examples outside of the concours cars. There is a comprehensive history file with full ownership history, MOT certificates dating back to 1988, photographs, service records and valuation certificates.
