This right hand drive UK supplied example was built in April 1961 for the home market before spending many years overseas, returning to the UK during the 1990s and later being recommissioned and registered for road use in 2009.

The condition of the bodyshell is particularly impressive and is widely believed to be largely original, with excellent panel fit, straight lines and period correct detailing throughout. The presence of original body numbers within the floor pans and the quality of the panel construction suggest that the car benefitted from time in a dry climate earlier in its life. Complementing the enhanced performance are upgraded 7.5 inch Cooper S front brakes with wider Cooper S rear drums, a three branch exhaust manifold and Maniflow rear exhaust system which delivers a purposeful yet period correct soundtrack.
