KEY FACTS

A rare and lauded performance car, finished in the eye-catching shade of Estoril Blue.

It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2-litre inline-six, delivering 316bhp and 258lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential.

This is one of just 821 right-hand-drive ‘S50’ engine models produced.

The car is supported by a raft of service history, and has been upgraded with Bilstein B6 shock absorbers and H&R springs.

Over £8,600 has been spent on recent maintenance.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

This Z3 M is finished in Estoril Blue over a black and blue leather-trimmed cabin with a body-coloured centre console.

It rides on a set of 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres.

The specification includes a sunroof, heated seats, air conditioning, electric windows, and a Becker Grand Prix radio.

Bilstein B6 shock absorbers, H&R springs, and 10mm spacers have been installed.

Accompanying the car is the owner’s book pack, service book, a raft of invoices and receipts, historic tax discs, toolkit, and car cover.

OWNERSHIP HISTORY

I have owned this car for 3 years. The car has covered 120,600 miles and has been faultless in my ownership, even covering a European tour in 2023.

MOT until April 2027 with a 1st time pass with no advisories.

The car is in very good condition for its age and drives really well.

Always garaged and SORN over winter.

A few points to note is that at some time in its history it has had a respray of a front wing and in certain light this is noticeable.

The stereo works fine but does struggle for a radio reception although this wasn’t an issue in stronger signal areas. CD and IPOD work fine.

All ready to go for this year’s show season, a definite appreciating modern classic and extremely rare car.

SERVICE HISTORY

The car was last serviced in March 2025 at 120,007 miles by ABP Motorsport in Cheshire.

Prior to that it was serviced in April 2023 at 115,680 miles by BMW specialist RBM Hampshire, who serviced the air conditioning system and replaced the air conditioning condenser and O-rings, the air conditioning compressor, the gearbox drain plug, the engine sump gasket, engine oil, and oil filter.

The steering wheel slip ring was replaced by RBM Hampshire in December 2022 at 115,640 miles.

Prior to this, the car was serviced in August 2022 at 115,399 miles by BMW specialist Swift Performance Ltd, who replaced the engine oil, oil filter, and throttle cable.

In October 2021 at 114,071 miles, Swift Performance repaired the nearside rear anti-roll bar mount, replaced and powder-coated the front and rear anti-roll bars, and replaced the front drop links, rear drop links, and rear anti-roll bar ‘D’ bushes.

The front brake hoses were replaced by Swift Performance as part of an oil service in May 2021 at 113,265 miles.

In August 2020 at 111,924 miles, Dmworx fitted a new offside front wishbone, 10mm spacers, four H&R springs, and four Bilstein B6 dampers.

In October 2019 at 110,710 miles, BMW specialist Dmworx replaced the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, rocker cover gasket, gearbox oil, front wiper blades, fuel filter, auxiliary drive belt, front brake discs, pads, and sensors, handbrake shoes, handbrake cables, and an O-ring. They also cleaned both rear calliper pistons, refit the driver’s airbag, and repaired the boot lock and front washer pipe.
