I'm selling my Mercedes-Benz SL350, a car I've thoroughly enjoyed owning and which remains a wonderfully comfortable and enjoyable car to drive.

Powered by the 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6, it has the smooth, effortless performance that suits the SL perfectly. It's equally happy on a long journey with the roof up or enjoying a summer evening with the electric hardtop folded away.

It has covered 77,000 miles and has proved to be a solid and reliable car during my ownership. It drives very well, with a lovely smooth engine and the reassuring, substantial feel you expect from this generation of Mercedes-Benz.

The specification includes the 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine, automatic transmission, electrically folding Vario hardtop, leather interior, electrically adjustable seats, climate control, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, alloy wheels, electric windows and electrically adjustable mirrors.

The car has part service history and is in good, presentable condition for its age. I prefer to be completely straightforward when selling a car: it isn't cosmetically perfect and there is a small scuff to the bumper which my husband did parking it in the garage!, together with the sort of minor signs of use you would reasonably expect on a 2009 car.

None of this detracts from what is a very enjoyable and fundamentally sound SL350. It feels remarkably solid, drives extremely well and the V6 remains a real pleasure - smooth, refined and particularly enjoyable with the roof down.

I think this would suit someone looking for a good, honest SL to use and enjoy.

It offers a tremendous amount of car for the money and still feels like a very special Mercedes-Benz every time you drive it.
