There are several issues with these A4s - the EGR valves cost about £1000 to replace, this has recently been carried out with genuine Audi parts so nothing for you to worry about. The lovely panoramic roofs can also leak. This started so I had the roof sealed with Paint Protection film by the chap that protects my other cars. Nothing to worry about now - roof is fixed in place.
