2002 TVR TUSCAN

First registered in Aug 2002 this stunning Mk1 Tuscan S Targa has only covered 29k miles from new.

The bodywork is almost unmarked and finished in the highly desirable Chameleon Green with freshly refurbished 18" Spider alloys in Silver fitted with brand new Toyo Proxes Sport 2 tyres.

The interior is immaculate with a mixture of Portland and Heron Grey leathers, with grey carpets bound in Heron Grey.

As with all Tuscan S variants this car benefits from being fitted with Air conditioning, the higher compression 4ltr engine, bigger injectors, big bore exhaust system and the larger diameter brakes front and rear, all as standard.

Str8six pride ourselves on selling the best cars and this one is no exception. To get the car to the standard we require to wear our number plates, we have carried out a full re-commission as the car is 24 years old in Aug and still had the original spec factory engine and suspension.

First of all we removed the engine and carried out a full rebuild including:

Inlet and exhaust chilled cast camshafts.

24 Finger followers.

24x Tuftrided valves.

24 Cast valve guides.

Headgsket

Chain kit

Uprated top chain slipper.

Uprated 1/2 time roller bearings and sprocket.

6x Piston ring sets.

Big end and main bearings.

Aux shaft bearings.

Rebuilt water pump.

Oil pump.

O rings and seals.

Oil and coolant gallery modifications.

Then the suspension was rebuilt using the latest spec Mk3 S Bilsteins and Eibachs. A Nimbus heat shield as fitted to the later cars was fabricated and fitted to the chassis to protect from the exhaust manifold heat. New mounts, oil pipes, silicone coolant hoses etc etc. The full breakdown of work carried out is documented and will be available with the car.

The chassis is in stunning condition with original powder coat visible throughout.
