The ‘Speed’ name carries real weight within Bentley’s history. First used on the 3 Litre Speed models of the 1920s - cars that cemented Bentley’s reputation at events like Le Mans - it has always been the more focused, more purposeful end of the range. Not just faster, but sharper. The one for drivers who wanted a Bentley that could properly move… That philosophy carries through here.

This example was supplied in December of 2014 by Jack Barclay London. Finished in Extreme Silver Metallic over a black hide interior, this Bentley Continental GT Speed is a subtle take on what is anything but a subtle car. It sits at the very top of the model range and represents the most complete expression of Bentley’s grand touring formula. Under the bonnet is the 6. 0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, delivering 626bhp and 800NM of torque to all four wheels through a fast, seamless automatic gearbox. It’s devastatingly quick when pushed, with a 0–60 time of around 4 seconds and a top speed beyond 200mph - but that only tells half the story. What really defines it is the way it delivers that performance: effortlessly, quietly, and without drama.

The specification is exactly where you’d want it. Mulliner Driving Specification brings diamond-quilted upholstery and drilled alloy pedals, while heated seats, premium Naim audio, and a suite of comfort features make it as usable as it is capable. The Beluga black interior keeps things restrained, while the beige touches pair perfectly with the cool, metallic finish outside. Subtle Speed-specific touches - darkened exterior elements and discreet badging - give the car presence without tipping into excess… If you know, you know.

It’s easy to focus on the numbers, but that’s not really the point of a car like this. The Continental GT Speed has always been about covering distance quickly, comfortably, and with a sense of occasion that few cars manage to replicate.
