What made Smoky Nagata san becomes an international car tuning legend?

It all began back to 1998 January at the Tokyo Auto Salon. A renowned British tuning magazine was blown away by Top Secret’s tuned GT-R and made a passionate offer to feature the car at a Motor Show in the UK. Unfortunately, Top Secret’s GT-R was already booked for another event. So instead, Smoky Nagata san proposed a substitute – The RB26DETT powered Supra that had been specially built for 0-300km/h runs. The deal was sealed and at October 25 the same year 1998, Smoky Nagata san flew to the UK with his monster Supra. The Top Secret built Supra was a star at the Motor show all packed with Italian and French tuned cars, the Gold painted Supra really stood up! And the rest are history: Nov 4th at the night in the UK highway, Smoky Nagata san drove his Supra full speed up to 197mph (317km) and was arrested by the UK police and the trial becomes a legend.

The newest Super Gold GT-R 32 has built and the passionate of continually challenging the top tuning performance has never ended. A single turbo high RPM tuning is always a dream of Nagata san, and R32 is always his own favourite the handling it applies a skill and fun to drive. Pursuits the DNA of GT-R the mechanical of its raw feeling which he has been projected this particular model for some time.

In May 2025 he started the entire project but this time with the new colour it calls Super Gold and challenging to 800 horse power by his full tuning and built RB26DETT power unit and to built the first R32 Top Secret complete car. Finally the first ever R32 model -001 completed and the first exhibited the car was in Jakarta Indonesia Tokyo Auto Salon in 2025 November, and the final touch and modifications after that to displaying the car was in 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon January.

As Smoky san has always stated that he wants to build a car with character and uniqueness, so every cars are different which means every Top Secret completed car is unique and perhaps each one is the “only one”. Not all the car enthusiast are lucky to drive and even own the fully completed Top Secret car, furthermore this R32 is coming with Smoky Nagata san hand signature which made the car itself more valuable and historical.
