This exceptional 2016 (16 plate) 2.2 TDCI 110, sourced as a low-mileage donor with just 42,000 miles, is currently being transformed by LUCARI Designs into something altogether more special. Due for completion at the end of April, this build reflects the LUCARI philosophy in full: classic form, contemporary refinement and a deeply considered approach to every surface, finish and feature. Finished in a rich Black Olive Green, this 110 has been redefined visually through a full soft top conversion, bringing a sense of freedom and elegance to its already commanding profile. The sand canvas hood and black heavy-duty hood stick set introduce a subtle contrast, while a series of carefully selected exterior enhancements add both function and poise.

From the white 18-inch classic steel wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres, to the galvanised front bumper with integrated daytime running lights, each element has been chosen to create a vehicle that feels equally at home in the countryside, on the coast, or arriving in the city. LUCARI’s signature touches including the Iroko tread-plated NAS rear step, flip-down side steps, and traditional mesh grille with LUCARI badging reinforce the vehicle’s bespoke identity without ever overwhelming its timeless silhouette.

The cabin has been completely reworked to deliver an atmosphere that feels warm, tailored, and unmistakably premium. Tan leather forms the foundation of the interior, bringing depth and softness throughout the dashboard, door cards, seats, and trim elements, while genuine Harris Tweed accents introduce texture and a sense of British heritage. It is a composition that feels both timeless and contemporary — traditional in spirit, yet entirely relevant in execution.

At the centre of the interior are a pair of LUCARI twin-post fluted seats with OEM heaters, designed to combine visual elegance with everyday comfort. Elsewhere, bespoke details continue through the tan leather cubby box, leather gaiters, and a beautifully crafted wooden dished steering wheel with quick-release boss.

Natural materials play an important role in the character of the cabin. LUCARI’s Iroko and marine-grade caulked floor inserts, fitted front and rear, bring a level of craftsmanship more commonly associated with luxury marine design than automotive interiors. Extended into the rear load area arch tops, and completed with engraved detailing, these elements give the vehicle a unique sense of tactility and occasion.

Modern usability has not been overlooked. A 10-inch Stinger head unit integrates contemporary functionality into the cabin, while the donor vehicle itself benefits from desirable factory features including air conditioning, central locking, electric windows, ABS, and traction control.
