2003 Vauxhall

Best looking small British sports car. This beautiful example of the VX220 was featured in the Classic and Sports Car magazine in February 2017 (the actual magazine is included in the extensive file of documents). It was described as highly original condition, unmarked and with a full service history. We bought it from Wallis Classic and Sports Car near Cambridge, where it was reviewed for the magazine. We have the original service book with full history. She has done around 40k miles and as far as we know is fully original with no modifications, except for a modern JVC stereo. Comes with 4 very good Bridgestone Potenza tyres and a soft top, also in very good condition in its original bag (hardly been used by us because we only take it out on dry sunny days).

This is a very rare VX220 coming in Rabiata metallic red, just 188 were originally made, with black leather interior. The paint really stands out and looks fantastic sparkling in the sunlight.

We have loved driving this car, you get a pure driving experience. We will be very sad to see her go.

We have owned it since March 2017 and it has only been used on sunny dry days. Normally she is tucked away in the garage and under her VX220 cover which is also included in the sale.

So exciting to drive but normally aspirated VX220’s are very economical, have reasonable service costs and she has been extremely reliable for us.
