This Corrado has benefitted from significant cosmetic and mechanical investment in recent years and now presents as a very well-sorted example.

Bodywork (2023)

A comprehensive body restoration and full repaint in Blackberry was carried out at a cost of over £4,000.

Dents, dings and imperfections were properly rectified, with corrosion cut out and replaced with fresh steel before refinishing (four coats of paint).

The wheels were also refurbished and remain unmarked.

The underside is reported to be solid and in excellent condition, while the exterior presents extremely well with deep, glossy paintwork.

Interior (2024)

The black leather interior has been fully restored and re-Connollised by Mark Thomas Trimming Ltd, including the front and rear seats and all four door cards.

Carpets have been shampooed and fitted with new genuine Volkswagen Corrado luxury pile mats, and the interior has been professionally detailed.

The cabin presents in excellent condition and retains the classic driver-focused feel.

ENGINE & MECHANICAL

The engine was replaced by a Volkswagen main dealer in 1997 at 39,952 miles.

In February 2021 (approx. 129k miles), the engine received a major mechanical refresh including:
